Your Morning Cats (sort of) • • Day 77 • • March 25, 2016

 

Here’s another backward glance, this time to 1997, when I was also a sculptor working in bronze, wood and fiber. If you can imagine making a cross between a human body and an archaic sailing vessel, you might have a notion of the complex project I had tackled. To save my sanity, I did quick and foolish drawings on the side, also of anthropomorphic boats (I called them Boatmen). These two didn’t come out as planned. Anything can become a cat!
